Paula Hicks is a Class 'A' member of the Teaching & Club Professional Division of the LPGA (Ladies Professional Golf Association) and owner of Swing Easy Golf, LLC. She is an independent contractor golf instructor at the scenic and challenging Oak Creek Country Club in the Village of Oak Creek, Sedona, Arizona.
At the age of fifteen, her father provided her with a series of six half-hour golf lessons. It wasn't long until she was out driving him and most of the boys her age. Although her chosen sport in high school and college was tennis, she continued to play recreational golf into adulthood. After graduating from college with a degree in Art, she became a golf professional at the Ojai Valley Inn, Ojai, California where she worked for two years with the goal of becoming a tour player. She put her golf career on hold for over twenty years while she raised a family and ran a successful retail corporation, retiring in 1998. She then went on to become a member of the LPGA and returned to the Ojai Valley Inn and resumed her golf career where she taught golf to many Hollywood film personalities. She now resides in Sedona, Arizona where she teaches golf as an independent contactor at Oak Creek Country Club and is the owner of Swing Easy Golf, LLC.
Paula currently participates in LPGA T&CP golf tournaments and leading edge teaching workshops.
