We're looking for women golfers who want to improve their golf game!
You're invited to join The Naughty Niners Golf Group. We are a group of women (of all levels of play) who get together twice a month to play golf and socialize for two hours (or nine holes) late in the day when the course is not busy. The only requirement necessary to become a member is to commit to having a good time!
Each play day, we start out with a 1/2-hour free golf clinic. Then, we tee off and Paula Hicks, an LPGA teaching professional, roams around the course and gives players tips on how to improve their swings, the rules, etiquette, specialty shots, and course management. The format of play is loosely structured:
- If you don't like your shot, you may play another one! You are allowed up to eight shots from the tee to the green after which you pick up your ball and advance to the green where you are allowed up to 4 putts.
- Keeping score is optional
- You may opt out of receiving help from the pro on the golf course
- You will be paired with other golfers of your same ability so as to help pace of play
- You may choose the players you wish to play with
If you are just learning the game, have been playing for awhile and just want to improve, or like playing late in the day, this is a perfect environment for you.
We play every second and fourth Tuesday, March through November, at Oak Creek Country Club. Following play, we meet for Happy Hour (optional). No matter what your goal or level is in golf, learn and improve your golf game in a non-intimidating environment that balances self esteem with golf esteem.
Cost: $30.00 green fee plus tax for non-members of Oak Creek Country Club, plus $5.00 dues for all players
